AUTHOR'S NOTE These poems were written between 1971 & 1974. They were my early experiments in writing. They are the works of a teenager growing under the influence of the passing 60's culture and generation. Washington Square, written in Washington Square Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, was written after a visit to see my Aunt Lena. Her picture is in the picture section. I liked her so much I named my daughter after her. This was a period of art and music study in my life when I had just discovered French impressionism. Paul J Campise 1973 |
